QuickBooks needs some hand-holding sometimes – updating server version, client version, backing up the company file, repairing corrupted data, or multi-user issues. NAC can help with all of that. We’re also familiar with Sage, and many other industry-specific software installations.

Backups are one of the most crucial yet often overlooked necessities for any business. At some point, someone WILL delete something and wish they had it back. Working from home is vital for some people, but it’s frustrating when you can’t do everything you can do at the office. One solution is to use a VPN (virtual private network) to connect to the Office network from home, and then use Remote Desktop to actually just do all your work from your office computer. That way, no matter where you are in the world, all your files and information is exactly where it always is. We can make this happen easily and with proper security.

Basic troubleshooting for VoIP phones

A lot of common problems with VoIP phones don’t require a call to the phone vendor. A reboot of the device, or restarting a service on the phone system hub, or vlan mismatch may all be things NAC can handle directly for you. But if necessary, we can call your VoIP provider for you and follow up on the issue until it is resolved.

Onboarding – setting up work stations for new employees, installing & configuring it, creating new logins, managing software licenses, etc.

Hiring a new employee is already a lot of work. NAC can make the process easier, though. We craft onboarding procedures, so that when you take on a new employee, you just send us their name and contact info, and we can setup their workstation, accounts, email, mobile devices, manage the software and licenses they’ll need, etc. When an employee leaves, we can do the same in reverse, lock down their account, archive their company e-mail, etc.

General WiFi issues for all employees both local & remote

Not all Wi-Fi networks are the same. Some locations have the older 2.4GHz radio band just saturated, and you get miserably slow speeds. We can force your computer to use the faster 5GHz band, and for incompatible computers, A $20 wi-fi adapter from Amazon will solve that problem. Other times a device may keep jumping between two nearby access points, and it needs to be told which one to use by default. There are many networking pitfalls that NAC can resolve.
